How the MAXit Checker works
The MAXit Checker is a plug-in to Adobe FrameMaker (all versions), Microsoft Word, XMetaL, EAGLE EPS and PTC Arbortext Editor. The writer selects a text selection or document to analyze. The program reads the text and displays corrections or suggestions for grammar, style and vocabulary. The choices are shown in a dialog box (see above). The user clicks on a color to see the corrections or suggestions to automatically insert or edit in place. The MAXit Checker makes the simplification task easy and fast.
The program has logic to navigate complex texts written in .html, .xml, .dita and SGML structured text. The shared dictionaries are ideal for engineering standardization and global collaborative authoring.
All versions use the same color-coded messages, dictionaries, grammar and logic represented by approximately 19,000 AI rules. Our AI is safe because there is always a human-in-the-loop.
