Smart Communications, Inc., was founded by John M. Smart, a computer scientist with expertise in artificial Intelligence, machine learning and electronic publishing. SMART provides clients with publishing software tools and services to improve their global technical communications.

John M. Smart, President, is a computer scientist, author, technologist and visionary for Controlled English. John has degrees in computer science and publishing from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has 22 years of experience in software development, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and electronic publishing. He is a frequent speaker about technical documentation.
